Jaipur's Pink City,  the area enclosed by four walls, is around the 'Hawa Mahal', it is so picturisque to go there, everything building and wall is coloured pink. And you feel the old world charm of Jaipur there. Do not miss a trip there if you are in Jaipur.

You can choose to just take a walk around, and see Hawa Mahal, or do some shopping for ethnic things such as mojaris (Rajasthani Slippers), the famous Blue Pottery products, Jaipuri razais (blankets) or indulge in some excellent street food.

My cousins took me to a small hole in the wall kind of a place literally, look at how small the place is in the photograph. The place was small in size, but definately big in taste. I had the best ever aloo tikki with chole (Potato cutlets topped with Chickpeas) and dahi wada (Deep fried lentil balls dunked in curd/yogurt). The tikkis were so crispy, everyone was guessing how they made it, my guess is they coat it with a thin layer of bread that has been soaked in water, and squeezed to drain the water, and then they coat the aloo/potato cutlets with the bread. I might be wrong, but the important thing is that, it was so delicious, and that's what matters right? :) But if you ever do get to try them, or if you already have, take a guess and if possible let me know why they are so crisp!

The dahi wada, was soft and it just melts in your mouth. The chaat masala and sweet chutney were both super yummy! I will always relish the taste of the chaat from Sharma's chat corner.
